How to change manually

Do you want to have new font in your phone?? I know how to do it. If you want too, reat this tutorial.

Install

1.You need only one app for this operation:

X-plore (I use this program but you can use other file explorer)

2. Run X-plore (or other file explorer)

go to: Z:/resource/fonts

yo see 4 files: (probably, you must check it, maybe in other models fonts have other names)

nohindisnr60.ttf
nohindissb60.ttf
nohinditsb60.ttf
S60ZDIGI.ttf

3. You must rename files with font to install to names of original font files.

for example:

Times_New_Roman-Regular.ttf rename to: nohindisnr60.ttf
Times_New_Roman-Bold.ttf rename to: nohindissb60.ttf
Times_New_Roman-BoldItalic.ttf rename to: nohinditsb60.ttf
Times_New_Roman-Italic.ttf rename to: nohinditsb60.ttf

4. Close X-plore and all applications whit access to memory card.

5. Connect your device in data transfer mode.

6. Go to MemoryCard:/Resource/fonts - if any folder doesn't exist make him.

7. Copy here your renamed files with fonts.

8. Restart your phone, it's may take a moment. You have your font!!!

How to uninstall?

1. When your phone is turned on unplug memory card and restart your phone.

2. When your phone started plug memory card and go to MemoryCard:/Resource/ and delete folder with your fonts.

That's all.

Tested on Nokia E51 (S60v3 FP1). Everything works correctly.

WARNING!!! If you use this method you can't connect phone in data transfer mode (only in PC Suite mode) because phone use fonts from MEMORY CARD. If you want to connect in this mode you must unninstall fonts or use Card Reared. I don't know whats happend if you install fonts on Phone Memory or if you replace fonts from folder Z:/resource/fonts.
